10 Do-It-Yourself Headboard Ideas

As I paint, recover, and upcycle my way through
our home I find myself so stuck on ideas
for our master bedroom.
It has kind of been a dumping zone for stuff we
need to sort out, and the last place I usually
spend very much time decorating.
But I want to change that this year, and now
that the pack n’ plays and cribs are no longer
claiming space in our room it’s time.
Time to create a spot to rest, relax
and enjoy a good book or movie.
The little ones are all off into their own
rooms now (most of the time) and
I am beginning to dream of what that
space would look like.
I am going to be doing it on the cheap of course,
painting the furniture we already have.
Making some curtains, and I have already
found a few accessories.  But the headboard
(or the lack of a headboard) is where I am at now.
Do I build one, buy one, upholster one…
So many options.  And I am getting excited
about the possibilities…here are am few
that I love, I thought I would share them
with you.

  1. I actually like the Grain sack inspired headboard, but the door to headboard could work also, I can see how it could be a difficult decision, they're all so pretty!
