20 Pretty Furniture Makeovers

chalk paint, milk paint, home decor, how to decorate, diy decor, decorate on a budget
Sometimes the thought of tackling an entire room
or large makeover can be daunting.
But what if we just breathe new life into
just one piece of furniture?
The transforming power of paint,
and the impact on how we feel
about our homes can kick our
Spring into gear and make us feel alive.

I have found that if I begin with one
piece of furniture, that change
inspires an evolution in that room
that may have never happened had
I not busted out the sander and dropcloth.
Here are some of my favorite furniture
transformations.  Some have been shared
at our weekly Pretty Things link party,
and others are from inspiring bloggers
I love to follow.
Let’s get inspired!

Are you feeling inspired yet?
Maybe you have already thought of a
few pieces of furniture you could tackle
this Spring.
Maybe you are loading a curbside rescue
into the back of your car right now.

Either way, creating a home we love
on a budget takes time.  One piece
at a time, one space at a time.

Before you know it, you are inspiring
those around you to change the things
they don’t like.  And try something
new in their homes.
It’s contagious, pass it on…

Happy Easter to you,
Tanya

  1. Very nice collection. I was drawn in by the pretty aqua pieces. Loving aqua these days. And i was surprised to see our table here. I really appreciate you being so kind as to include it and i am thankful, as well, to have been embraced so kindly by the blogging world in general lately. 🙂 Have a wonderful Easter Tanya!
