This Ain’t Your Mama’s Slaw
I could seriously eat this every day, I love not only how delicious this is but how fast it comes together!
Grab a big mixing bowl and add the following:
  • 2 Twelve oz bags of shredded cole slaw
  • 1/2 cup salad or vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 1 t. sesame oil
  • 2 Three oz packages of ramen noodles and their seasoning packets (if removing gluten just use the seasoning and no noodles) crush the noodles so they are in bite-size pieces
  • 1/2 cup of roasted sunflower seeds
  • Two peeled and finely sliced cucumbers
  • One bunch of sliced green onions
  • 1/2 cup sugar or Splenda
Mix all ingredients and refrigerate until ready to eat.  Makes about 8 generous servings.  You can garnish with toasted sesame seeds as well.
