So I figured I better let you in on what I have been up to lately…
Our very first sweet grand baby has arrived!
And he is perfect, and I love him.
I don’t want to set him down, or walk away, he is just wonderful.
Many months ago our daughter shared with us that she and her fiance were
expecting. We have since had a rustic backyard wedding this summer in
our backyard, and anxiously awaited the arrival of baby Kaleb.
The day before Mandy’s due date she called me to tell me she was in Portland
and her water broke. Of course after a few false alarms, and some late nights
up counting contractions I thought she was kidding.
She wasn’t!
After 27 hours of labor, Kaleb was born, and we instantly fell in love.
Weighing 9 pounds 12 ounces (exactly what #3 weighed for me!)
All of the preparations in the world never prepare you for the overwhelming
love and joy a new baby brings. And being a grandma to this sweet little peanut?
Fantastic!
So you have seen some of my pre-scheduled posts the past week or so, but I am
back in the DIY swing again. And getting a bit more sleep too 🙂
