I have to share this with you for two extremely important reasons.
The first is that is tastes really good, like really good.
The second is my super-duper picky eater who happens to not usually love everything I make ate 4 servings of
this when I made it. That is a freakishly amazing amount of food for Mr. Picky to consume, especially when I
made it. Totally shocking.
Well, I guess there are actually three reasons why it’s such an urgent matter that I share this baked spaghetti recipe
with you, it’s just easy.
I can’t stand complicated anything, except maybe a good book or movie plot.
Complicated, time consuming recipes? No thanks.
I give you, my favorite way to make spaghetti ever. You may wonder if I am still sticking with my reduced carb
lifestyle, the answer is yes. But I do have those days that I just want some comfort food that everyone loves.
And, since I make this with Gluten Free Pasta, it makes all the tummies oh so happy.
Let’s cook something easy and delish k?

- 10 to 16 ounces of your favorite spaghetti or gluten free spaghetti
- 2 pounds of ground turkey
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- a few spoon-fulls of fresh minced garlic
- 1 large can (26 ounce or close to it) of spaghetti sauce
- 2 small cans of tomato paste
- 2 cups of water
- 1 T. Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 2 cups of sour cream
- 1 cup of Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups of shredded Mozzarella cheese
- Brown ground turkey, add onion and garlic and saute until onion is transparent.
- Add spaghetti sauce, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, water & brown sugar.
- In a good sized pot cook pasta until al dente and not overdone. Drain and set
- aside. When sauce has had a few minutes to simmer, stir in the pasta and
- spread half of the mixture into the bottom of a 13" x 9" baking dish. In a small
- bowl combine sour cream with parmesan and spread this over the top of first
- half of the pasta. Add remaining pasta/sauce mix over the top of the sour cream
- mixture, top with mozzarella cheese and bake for about an hour or until bubbly
- and beginning to turn golden in areas on top at 375*
- Enjoy!!
