One of the easiest desserts to whip up is a mousse. Have you tried making them before? They are really
wonderful, and such a simple way to round out a nice meal.
The ingredients can easily be kept on hand, and this requires only 3 (plus a pretty garnish) plus it helps
keep me on track as I am watching my intake of carbohydrates every day.
Here is what I use to make my favorite chocolate mousse:
3 Ingredient Chocolate Mousse
serves 2
1 1/3 cups of heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup Splenda
2 Tablespoons of unsweetened baking cocoa
In a deep mixing bowl whip heavy whipping cream on high with an immersion blender or hand blender until stiff
peaks form, blend in Splenda and baking cocoa until both are evenly mixed into the whipped cream. Serve in
small Mason jars or pretty bowls. I like to sprinkle a bit of cocoa over the top of the mousse, and add a few
sliced almonds, and a fresh berry.
Enjoy!

Thank you so much for putting up your low-carb recipes on your blog! I am a newly-dianosed Stage II diabetic and I also have a sweet tooth like you so eating properly for my condition is really challenging to say the least.
You are very welcome Richard!
