We just came up with this little number this weekend and I had to share.
Not only is this a refreshing, crisp glass of apple pie with a kick, but this will keep those tootsies warm on cold nights too.
I love a quick seasonal drink that I can throw together for friends to enjoy, and this little apple concoction is just what we need for some relaxing late Fall entertaining. And by late Fall I mean some of my Christmas stuff is up and it’s beginning to look a lot like Santa’s Workshop up in here.
So, if you still have people coming for Thanksgiving and you have half of your home Christmasy you are not alone.
Make yourself a grown up slice of apple pie in a glass and break out the tinsel, Thanksgiving cooking got just got that much more fun.
Here is how I make Apple Pie Hard Cider :
- Short tumbler
- Granny Smith apples (slice and wrap as you go so they don’t brown)
- Dark rum of your choice
- Cinnamon whiskey
- Good quality apple cider (you can usually find a gallon jug in the produce section of your local grocery store)
Fill tumbler half way with ice, add one ounce of rum, a small splash of cinnamon whiskey, apple slice, and fill to the top with cider.
A quick stir and you are now a apple cider cocktail making mama jama and there is no stopping you.
Off to go buy our turkey and more Christmas lights, as always thank you for reading friend!!
