Boho fall dollar store floral centerpiece

I will be sharing our fall home tour in just a few days, and we are getting ready to head to Bend, OR tomorrow for a long overdue visit with some of the older kids and grands. So excited!

On a recent trip to Dollar Tree I was happy to find a bunch of pretty floral touches I could tuck here and there around our home to give it that fall zhoosh. But a couple really caught my eye and I immediately thought together these look really pretty, and more high-end than I expected.

So a quick, thrifty fall DIY is what I am sharing with you today!

It does not get much more easy that this, the best kind of project right? Pretty and FAST 🙂

I bought these two pots last spring at Marshall’s and they were full of faux succulents on my patio for summer. I brought them in and thought that they would look cute on this little wooden stand I found at a local craft shop. My hubby often reminds me he can make things like this but that could turn into our cutting board hobby of last year. Let’s just say we made A LOT of them.

No tools are needed as these little stems can just fold under and voila! Almost done.

I used four mums for the larger pot and three for the smaller, three green stems for the larger pot and two for the smaller one.

I added the mums first and tucked the green stems in here are there so they both looked fluffy and lush. I thought about adding a few more stems (the maximalist in me) but I love them just like this.

On their little wooden stand they went, and the cozy vibes just got more COZY!

Super easy and hardly a post but I really love how quick and thrifty this was. If you don’t have pots already the dollar store has lots of options that you could hot-glue twine to or paint. The possibilities are endless!

  1. These are so cute, Tanya! I love the pop of orange and how easily this arrangement came together too. It would be super sweet to include in a gift basket of soup and fresh bread as well. I’m definitely going to be on the lookout at our store now! Thanks for the heads up, CoCo
