DIY Wood Magnets + Wood Push Pins | with Krista from The Happy Housie

I am LOVING wood everything right now, and especially wood that we already have
or can recycle.  Krista is sharing a super fun and easy DIY Wood Magnet & Push Pin
project you can put together in a snap!
Hi everyone!! It is Krista from The Happy Housie back again and I am so excited to be here today sharing an easy craft that will help you with staying organized this year. These wood round magnets and push pins not only have a cute natural look to them but can be used to pin up all those important papers that you can’t let yourself forget about.

For this project you will need:
  • Wood Rounds – you can buy these at craft stores but I had my husband use his compound mitre saw to slice a branch from our yard into thin rounds.
  • Magnet rounds and flat headed push pins
  • Glue – I used a stronger permanent glue for the magnets and my glue gun for the push pins

These are a quick and easy project to make – simply glue the magnets to the back of the wood round using a strong permanent craft glue. I used the Quick Grip glue you see pictured above but you could also use E6000 or Gorilla Glue, among others. I simply used my hot glue gun to attach the push pins.

I used some on our fridge to hold up the latest artwork, To Do lists, and our menu for the week. I also used some on the inside lid of our new DIY Vintage Tool Box Charging Station.

I am totally loving wood rounds lately and have created some fun projects with them. In addition to these magnets and push pins I also created some Chalkboard Wood Round Wine Charms…
