This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of FrogTape brand painter’s tape.
All opinions are 100% mine.
I know it’s October, and while I am still having a ton of fun
making all kinds of Halloween crafts and goodies, Thanksgiving
is coming.

I love me some chevron, and when I found out that FrogTape®
has a super cool new product my head was full of fun ideas for Thanksgiving.
Shape Tape is FrogTape® brand’s first edge treated painter’s tape with pre-cut patterns:
Chevron, Wave and Scallop.

I decided to make a fun Thankful sign for Thanksgiving, and I may
even take off my leaf garland after Thanksgiving and use it all the
time.  I already use FrogTape® and after a few times I
realized why it worked so well, PaintBlock® Technology.

PaintBlock® Technology is a super-absorbent polymer which reacts with latex paint
and instantly gels to form a micro-barrier that seals the edges of the tape,
preventing paint bleed.  Pretty cool huh?

I began by using the Chevron pattern tape in rows across a previously
stained grey piece of pine scrap wood.  Next I used some off white
acrylic paint and a paint pouncer to apply the paint.  Even though I was
using acrylic paint, the tape still created a wonderful seal and I was
able to remove it to find a clean line on each row.  That is hard to
achieve!

Next I used some black chip board scrapbooking letters to spell out
thankful, and glued a row of felt Dollar Tree leaves together to make
my leaf banner.

I used a bit of hot glue to tack the leaves down into place, and some
string and two screw eyes for the hanger if I want to hang it on wall.

Good day! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this site?
I’m getting tired of WordPress because I’ve had problems with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform.
I would be awesome if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
