Are you thinking about Christmas, and shopping, making or baking yet?
I know that Halloween is just under two weeks away, but I am already kicking my gift making into
high gear. Otherwise, well, you know. It will be a mad dash to finish everything at the last minute
and that’s no fun at all! I make as many of my DIY Christmas gifts ahead of time as possible, and
try to leave as much time as possible for concerts, cookie baking, and some shopping too for the
last few weeks before Christmas. If you need an easy gift idea that is easy on the budget, gorgeous,
and people love to receive, body scrubs are on the top of this list.
Since the leaves are blowing off the trees, and the mornings are nice and chilly, I wanted
to make a rich, sweet body scrub today that smells like cookie dough and smooths the rough winter skin too.
And I included a sheet of printable labels too! Just click on the image to download them,
here is a smaller version:
This is such a budget friendly gift, you can make a whole bunch for teacher gifts, gifts for friends,
and anyone who likes cookies and smooth skin (so everyone basically.)
Here is what I use to make my Gingerbread Cookie Body Scrub:
- 2 cups of sugar
- 1 cup of carrier oil, you can use olive, coconut, almond, or canola oils they are work well
- 2 T. Pumpkin Pie Spice Mix
- 1 T. Ground Ginger
- 1 T. Vanilla Extract
- Clean, dry jars and lids to fill (This just more than fills 2 one cup Mason Jars full)
Mix well in a bowl and fill your clean, dry jar, top with a lid and pretty fabric or ribbon to make
the jar look festive and cute!
Totally easy right?

Greetings! Very helpful advice within this post! It’s the little changes that produce the most significant changes.
Thanks for sharing!
When I originally left a comment I appear to have clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now whenever a comment is added I receive 4 emails with
the exact same comment. Is there an easy method you are
able to remove me from that service? Thank you!
Hi there! I know this is kinda off topic however I’d figured I’d ask.
Would you be interested in trading links or maybe guest authoring a blog article or vice-versa?
My site goes over a lot of the same subjects as yours and I believe we could greatly benefit from each other.
If you’re interested feel free to shoot me an email.
