How to make a snowy DIY Anthro wreath

Hello friends!

I thought I could wait until Thanksgiving but I ignored that small voice, instead turning my home into Santa’s Workshop this weekend.

It was so much fun, we had our favorite Christmas songs going, it was very cold outside and soup simmering in the crock pot. We hung garlands, brought out the Christmas house village and lit it all up as the sun began to fade.

You know what I am going to do tonight? Yep, the same thing!

Yes, the BEST WEEKEND EVVVVVVVVER!

I have cabbage roll soup simmering for tonight’s dinner and wanted to share my version of the very popular Anthro Snowy Christmas House Wreath that I just made today.

I started with a flocked faux wreath that has a 15″ base but is quite a bit larger once you floof up all the branches.

I found four super cute little chapel shaped houses at the dollar store and scored these sparkly snowballs while thrifting!

I used a pretty aqua ribbon (about 50 inches) to make the long “hanger” on the back and have long pieces hanging down after I tied it.

I tried a few different arrangements with the houses and as soon as I had them just where I wanted them I lifted each and secured it back in place with a bit of hot glue.

It’s that easy!

I love a good knock off and I think I like mine better than the original since it is full of snowballs, now we just need snow ๐Ÿ™‚

Are you in full North Pole mode or waiting a bit longer? I can’t wait to see what everyone out there is creating and making, it’s the most wonderful time of year for sure.

Thank you so much for reading friend, I hope you have an amazing week!

xo, Tanya

  1. This is such a cute wreath, Tanya! I love the winter feel the snowballs give the wreath and how the churches compliment everything perfectly. I can’t believe you found them at the dollar store either. What an awesome score! Loving and pinning, CoCo

  2. Your snowy wreath is the sweetest Tanya.
