This is Penny, the sweetest, cuddly dog who has just enough terrier in her to keep up with the kids
all day. Penny is a rescue dog we recently adopted at our local Humane Society. They didn’t have
any information on her history since she came in as a stray. They estimate her age to be about two,
so I probably should stop calling her a puppy. But I can’t resist! She is a really good dog, and while my
husband wants a purebred Labrador for hunting down the road, I am so glad we happened to look
online and see her available for adoption. She is a Jack Russell & Dachshund mix and is the latest
member of the twelveOeight team. She is either in my lap or by my side all day while I write, create,
take photos and race around painting and sanding the day away. I love it.
One thing we are teaching our kids is how important good nutrition is. I have cleaned up our pantry,
and removed most processed food from out lives. So we are teaching them why it;s important to
take good care of Penny too. Penny had an opportunity to sample some delicious ALPO® foods
recently, which I will share more about that later. For now check out this video brought to you by
ALPO® who you can find on ALPO’s Facebook Page too:

Oh my gosh! She's adorable!! We just got a cat a few days ago and I've decided I don't know how I got along before without a pet to love on! 🙂
What a little darling! Give Penny a pat for me. 🙂
Penny is just the cutest sweetest pup!
You give her pets and treats from her Auntie Shell, ok? Tell her Romeo the Kitty thinks she is very pretty and lovable, too.
