Peppermint Mocha Milkshake

While I enjoy grabbing seasonal flavored coffee in the fall and winter at Starbucks, I like to make some yummy drinks at home too. Not only are they easy on the budget, but I can make them anytime, and can make them for guests too. This weekend I was craving something sweet and minty, but with a little coffee kick to it and came up with this little shake. I think I will make these for a cookie making party, or cookie exchange to go along with festivities. The coffee could be left out for the younger crowd too. And the coffee could be omitted if one wanted to add some mint liqueur as well.  I am already thinking about how much fun these could be to make on Christmas Eve.  Yummy!

Here is what I used:

Peppermint Mocha Milkshake
Makes 1 regular sized shake or 2 kid’s shakes

In a blender combine the following and blend on high until mixed well:
2 cups of vanilla ice cream
3/4 cup of milk (1/2 cup for a thick shake)
2 T. instant coffee granules
2 T. chocolate syrup
1/8 t. peppermint extract

I topped mine with some whipping cream and a sprinkle of crushed peppermint candies.  It was a wonderful late afternoon pick me up.  Sweet, decadent and enough coffee to help me keep crafting and wrapping presents into the evening.

I hope you enjoy this as much as we do! Wishing you a wonderful day, hugs from my kitchen to yours…

xoxo, Tanya

Hi there! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering which blog
platform are you using for this website? I'm getting tired of WordPress because I've had problems with hackers and I'm looking at options for another platform. I would be awesome if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.

Hi there! Do you know if they make any plugins to safeguard against hackers?
I'm kinda paranoid about losing everything I've worked hard
