Pretty Pot Holders

What’s better than making something cute? Cute + saving time at Christmas = A Happy Mama!
I have always wondered if some of the liquid adhesives on the market really work.  After a little experimenting I have found my new favorite craft supply…

Behold: Fabri-Tac

My latest crafty find
These cute oven mitts and pot holders were already darling but needed a little pizazz.  Being a lover of trim, glitter, pom pom’s and all things that can be glued to another surface, ric rac was the winner.  Pizazz!!

What I used:
2 pot holders
2 oven mitts
Fabri-Tac
One package of large ric-rac

The adhesive does not dry immediately so it was easy to adjust my trim after I had it in place.  After I applied the ric rac, I pressed down firmly around the edges, and within about ten minutes I could tell that it was beginning to dry.  They are looking much more pizazzy now!

I used the green ric rac around the edge of each of the pot holders and around the top of the oven mitts.  Once they were dry, I wrapped some pretty red ribbon around them and cannot wait to put these under the tree for someone special.

These would make a great grandparent or teacher gift, and kids could easily help put these together.  A little hint too, you can find these pot holders and oven mitts at Dollar Tree.  Thifty too, woot woot!

Thank you for reading, and your sweet comments that always make me smile.  Have a wonderful week, and a fabulous Thanksgiving!

Hugs & Blessings
xoxo, Tanya
