-
1/2 cup Butter
- 1/2 chopped fresh basil leaves
- 46 ounce can of tomato juice
- 1 cup of heavy whipping cream
Directions:
In a heavy-bottom soup pan melt your butter over medium heat, add your basil and cook until basil has wilted a bit. Add the tomato juice and simmer over medium-low heat for a few minutes. I usually add a bit of black pepper right before adding the whipping cream, heat thru without boiling, and serve!

I have a favorite tomato soup. I usually make grilled cheese sandwiches on the side 🙂 I will have to try with fresh tomatoes!!
That sounds so good. I love tomato soup and love basil!! Daniela's idea of the grilled cheese with it is also a favorite here. We like hot pepper cheese with ours. 🙂
Yum! I'm going to have to try this it looks delicious.

Oh, this looks so yummy! Perfect for the cold weather we are finally having. LOL I will definitely be making this. Thanks so much for sharing at A Bouquet of Talent again this week. You make the party special. HUGS
I was wondering if you ever thought of changing the structure of your site?
Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a
little more in the way of content so people could connect with it
better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only
having one or two images. Maybe you could space it
out better?
I always used to read post in news papers but now as I am a user of internet thus from now I am using
net for content, thanks to web.
Aw, this was an extremely good post. Taking a few minutes and actual effort to make a
very good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate
a whole lot and don’t seem to get nearly anything done.
