Hello friends!
I wanted to share a quick refresh we did recently in our home office.
With a growing family I find that over the years I have re-purposed a few spaces in our home many times.
My home office has been a play room, spare bedroom, office, extra family room, office again, craft and art room, and I think it may very well be an office for good now.
I repainted the sofa table that runs along the back wall a light aqua. Someday I hope to have some industrial bookcases along this wall.
We used the top of an old desk and painted it with black chalk paint, which matched the Oddvald legs we found at IKEA perfectly!
Some new and some found accessories here and there, and a good deep clean was long overdue.
And that beautiful area rug that pulls the room all together is from Natural Area Rugs.
This is the Sarafina, we got the 5′ 3″ by 7′ 5″ and I loved it immediately.
These are imported from Turkey, and the muted tones of ivory, grey and blues fit in perfectly with the black desk in my office and boho-farmhouse vibe.
While the master bedroom and laundry room makeovers are close to being done, this home office refresh took just a few hours, and I am so happy to write and reflect in this peaceful space.
While there are still lots of papers to create an organization system for, and a drab end table holding my scanner, we are loving this space so much!
We never are really “done” it doesn’t seem huh?
And by the time I am I will probably want to repaint something AGAIN.
But I guess that really is the fun part, being able to pull together things you love, that make you happy each time you walk by.
I received the rug shown in this post for review from Natural Area Rugs. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Thank you so much for reading, and as always, may your heart and home be full of everything you love…
xo, Tanya

Lovely rug I love the blue. Colour.
I like your make-over and it just shows how little effort can create a big difference! I must admit, ‘boho’ is also more my style😜
f67Nas There is certainly a great deal to know about this topic. I like all the points you made.
Im obliged for the post. Keep writing.
Designing with vintage decors at home is really the way to go! It’s a perfect home design that can match a lot of mid-century styles
