Summer is just around the corner, YIPPEE!!
My favorite time of year, hands down is summertime.
Iced tea, hot dogs on the grill, and kids playing in the backyard all day.
Tons of sunshine, garage sales galore.
Summer is such a fun time to bust out the bright colors, and get your happy on.
Outside and inside too, bright, fun colors are everywhere & this wreath can help
you bright the brights inside, or hang it proudly on your door.
Letting everyone know your place is a summer party zone!!

Ready to get your sassy craft on? I ended up hanging mine or a bor-ring white door that leads to our pantry.
It really needed some excitement to remind everyone it’s summer, and I am super excited.
Lest they forget…
Supplies
  • wreath form, I used a simple straw wreath about 3.99 at Jo-Ann’s
  • turquoise yarn (it takes waaaay less than one skein)
  • one yard of pink, purple or any color you like of pom trim
  • one yard of bright polka dot ribbon for bow and wreath hanger
  • two small bundles of inexpensive flowers (I used one yellow and one hot pink from Dollar Tree)
  • one package of pre-made paper flowers (I found mine at Target in the scrapbook area)
  • hot glue, scissors
  • SUMMER PARTY ATTITUDE (this is a must, otherwise you won’t have as much fun)

Directions
Wrap your yarn around your wreath to cover any areas of the wreath form that may show thru.
Keep wrapping, watch a 90210 episode and perhaps grab a diet Coke.
I’m just telling you what I do when I make a wreath, your TV selection and beverage choice is totally
up to you.

Space your pieces of pom trim out so they are evenly spaced around the wreath…

Grab your ribbon & make a hanger for your wreath with a long piece of ribbon, tie at the top.
Create a flat loop and glue onto the top front of the wreath, with a small piece of ribbon wrapped and
glued around the center to create a flat blow.  Glue in place.

Now add your flowers here and there, securing them with a dot of hot glue as you go.  The louder and
more wild the better.  This is your summer wreath, go for it!!

Have a blessed & wonderful day friends, love you SO!
