I recently had a chance to try out Textured Surface by FrogTape and I knew exactly what I wanted to do
in this space.  I found the bedding for a song (cannot wait to show you the finished room very soon!)
the art & furniture is coming together, like this vintage rocking chair from a friend.  And I love how
bright and pretty her room looks with a clean geometric wall as the main focal point.

Before I show you how I did it, don’t forget to jump over and
follow the FrogTape Textured Surface board on Pinterest,
there are tons of awesome ideas are waiting for you there as well!!

Here is how I created this Herringbone accent wall for Abbie’s room:

To create clean, straight lines I used Textured Surface by FrogTape, to make a large herringbone
pattern on my wall.  FrogTape® is treated with patented PaintBlock® Technology,
a super absorbent polymer that reacts with the water in latex paint and instantly gels to form a
micro-barrier that seals the edges of the tape, which helps prevent paint bleed.

I like using this to prep my painting area because it creates and excellent barrier like no other
product I have used, especially on textured wall.  They can be challenging to paint!

I began by creating my design & using my nail smoothed over the edges to create a good seal.
You can also use a credit card as well.  The next step inv0lves using the liquid, following the package
instructions, and painting my wall once my tape design was created and prepped.

And when I was done, I removed the tape, let the wall dry completely, and begin to decorate.
I really love how easy this wall treatment turned out, it’s my favorite so far!

I really love how organic and beautiful this turned out. I don’t know if I personally would have the patience to tape up an entire wall, but I love the results. Definitely going on the inspiration board for the future! Thank you for sharing!
