Oh my goodness. Those gumdrops make me think of my grandma! She always had a little candy dish of those sitting on her big ole stereo!I didn't really care for them, but I sure loved her!
I am so glad you shared this idea. I use to make these with the kids when I was a teacher…I guess I had forgotten that we made them. I am putting this on my list for next year…I am sure others will love this too! Dianntha
How cute! Would you believe I've never made a gingerbread house before? I feel like I'm missing out! I'll have to follow your directions if I ever make one 🙂
I've NEVER made a Gingerbread house before! I've been dying to try though! I just LOVE yours!!
that just couldn't be cuter! Thanks for the info, I am dying to do that next year!
Jenna
This is so fun! I'm thinking about going the cardboard route this year too, plus it will make it easier for my 2 1/2 year old to help decorate. Yours came out so pretty.
A pretty & large version of the milk carton classic!
No-bake gingerbread houses have been made for years! My kids and I made these houses back in the 1970s! And I also taught Girl Scout leaders how to make them. To glue the graham crackers to a box base, just use royal icing! No need for hot glue!
Your gingerbread house turned out so cute! I love the idea of using crushed graham crackers for the grout lines. (I'm anxious to try this now!)
So smart to use the box. I remember using milk cartons when I was a teacher but I like the idea of making it larger with your way. I had forgotten about that idea. Thanks for the hot glue suggestion.
Your gingerbread house looks awesome!!!! So fun and festive!!!! I baked all the pieces for mine this year and it was way too much work! This looks fantastic!!! Merry Christmas!
That looks awesome!! I love that idea! Thanks so much for sharing at Clean and Scentsible. I will be featuring this tomorrow. Wishing you and your family a wonderful holiday season. Merry Christmas!
Jenn 🙂
Greetings! This is my first comment here so I just wanted to give
a quick shout out and say I really enjoy reading your posts.
Can you suggest any other blogs/websites/forums that cover the same topics?
Thanks for your time!
Hey would you mind stating which blog platform you’re using?
I’m planning to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a tough time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for
something unique. P.S Sorry for getting off-topic
but I had to ask!
