I absolutely do!
I’m so glad the new year begins right after Christmas,
otherwise I might be a bit depressed. I hate having the holiday
season come to an end, but I completely look forward to starting
fresh in the new year. New goals, new opportunities, new challenges,
new, new, new. I love it all!

We spent a lot of time at my parents’ over Christmas break.
My dad recently retired, and my parents are looking to sell their home,
and move a bit closer to family (yippee!). My mom has always collected quote books, and now that they’re going through things as they pack up to move, she was bringing out books I’d never seen before. I spent a lot of the break reading over some very inspiring quotes.
I instantly fell in love with this quote from Mr. Emerson. I was thinking about the new year, and all the possibilities it will bring. Then I read this quote and quickly realized that each and every day can be like a mini new year. I’m such a morning person. I love waking up refreshed and ready to embark on a new day. This quote has helped me embrace that attitude even more. I’m printing out this quote and putting on my night stand to see every morning in 2014. I cannot wait to see the hopes and invitations that await!
